Kyle, Maddison and I took a trip to New York with Kyle's parents and grandma last week. We went to meet his sister Tara there on her way home from being an exchange student in Italy. We spent three days in Manhattan, then drove up to Palmyra, New York and spent that night in a little town called Victor. The next day we went up Niagara Falls and spent that night in Erie, Pennsylvania. Then we went to Kirtland and Newark, Ohio to see the church historical sites and a "basket building" that grandma wanted to see. The next day, after much complication and flight changes due to weather, we flew home. Here are just a few of the hundred of pictures I took.

St. Patrick's Cathedral

Tara and Maddison at the Rock Cafe. During the winter, the cafe closes and is turned into an ice rink. Pretty cool.

This is traffic in New York Time's Square. I dont think this is even the worst. So if you ever complain about traffic again... lol.

Tara and Maddison in Central Park and the Bathesda Fountain

These two guys put on a show in Central Park. It was a lot of fun. They were hilarious.

Maddison just chilling.

Heaton Reunion 2008

The annual Heaton Family reunion was this week from Thursday to Sunday. Sadly Kyle couldn't make it and the girls and I could only stay Thursday night. We had a fun time considering it was pretty cold at night and Addy wet through all of her spare pants halfway through the night. We all had a fun time on friday making crafts and playing games. My aunt Lydia was awesome and provided all the crafts. Shes great at stuff like that! Here are a few of the pictures I managed to get.

Maddison just chillin. I think Cynthia was holding her.

Addy sitting around the fireplace.

My aunt Coral and her daughter Ellie. So cute!!

Ellie is teething so her dad tried to get her to chew on this ring to sooth her. It didn't really work but oh well. lol.

Wynn and Indiana playing around, having fun.

Memorial Day 2008

Every year for Memorial Day we go up to Twin Falls, Idaho to visit Grandma Hogan. We usually spend one day at her house, then the next day we take a long trip across Idaho to Soda Springs, stopping in Lund, Bancroft, and Chesterfield along the way. In Soda Springs we have lunch with grandmas cousins, Neal and Diane. It was a fun trip but a little exhausting with the two little ones. Thank goodness for portable DVD players. Lol.

Playing on a bench at a rest stop.

Maddison was enjoying the trip. :)

It was raining, but the sky was gorgeous blue

Addy was REALLY smelling the flowers. Lol.

At Canyon Crest there were a whole bunch of little streams and water fountains. They were gorgeous

I love this picture especially since I have a picture from Memorial Day last year of Addy in the same spot. :)

Addy managed to lock herself outside and instead of being a nice mommy and letting her in, I just took pictures. lol.
